If you're craving authentic Filipino cuisine, Jochi is a must-visit! We stopped by for a quick bite and ordered the dinuguan (Filipino pork blood stew) paired with crispy lechon and rice. The flavors were incredible--rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. The crispy lechon added the ideal crunch to the meal, making it even more enjoyable. The customer service was fantastic; the staff was friendly and welcoming. While Jochi is mostly grab-and-go, they offer open seating if you want to dine in. It's a convenient spot for anyone looking for delicious Filipino comfort food without the wait. Highly recommend Jochi for anyone in search of authentic Filipino dishes done right. I'll definitely be back!

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Being a non-cooking Filipino, I have to seek out cuisine that is close to the quality of my mom's dishes at restaurants. I can honestly say that the food at Jochi's always hits the spot when I'm craving the taste of home. From the crispy lechon, to the fresh vegetables in the pinakbet, the food is as close to home cooking as you can get. Don't expect fancy dining here. This is a simple spot where you point to dishes that strike your fancy, they scoop some into a to-go carton with rice or pancit and off you go. If you're looking for a proper sit down restaurant with a waiter, this place isn't it. But if you want quick, good quality Filipino food, definitely add this place to your list.

I've been going to this Filipino restaurant because of the Lechon or roasted pig dish and other Filipino foodies they were like homemade and their ingredients are high quality. I have tried their other dishes like adobo, menudo, lumpia's and monggo or mung bean veggie soup, This Filipino fast food is known for their authenticity, and the servers are super nice and friendly, they always have long lines because of the way they cook Filipino food traditionally, Their style is like turo-turo in Tagalog means fast casual Filipino dining style where customers point to the food they want and receives a generous portion combo 2 entrees, they served everything u named it. Like bbq skewers, sausages or longganisa, veggies like pinakbet well basically everything, They're next to Seafood city in Chula Vista exit Orange 805 freeway, Last Sunday when I came they give me free coffee, nice ! Filipinos are sweet and friendly, homey feels like here. Salamat po! Means thank you, Masarap means delicious, Great Filipino cuisine try it folks ! Don't forget to buy the Lechon it's yummy n crispy and well seasoned.its the Philippines well Known food. And try the adobo it's the national dish of the Philippines.

I really like their sinigang, pancit and pinakbet. Staff is friendly and attentive. They refill the stations quickly so the line moves along fast!

Cafeteria style place in a strip mall that seems to be mostly Filipino business. Seafood City is the main store and this location has Red Ribbon, Jollibee, and more. You pick and choose your combos or individual entrees. They do catering too. Most customers were getting takeout when I was there. Busy but the service is fast. Prices are reasonable and serving portions are generous. Very nice people working the counters. Very helpful to first time customers too. There are several tables and chairs to dine in. They seem to do a really good takeaway business. The place is clean and I did not encounter any old or rancid fry oils or burnt bbq grill odors. That can be commonplace in Filipino restaurants like at Porky's Lechon in National City. I read a review on yelp that they offer Cebu Lechon but recommended to go early because they run out fast. Well I lucked out and was able to buy a pound to go for $16. You get a decent amount. I froze half when I got home so I could enjoy another time when I'm pressed for what to eat and want some roast pork. Fresh, it was delicious with great aroma. Not salty. The server recommended I put it in the air fryer to crisp up the skin. I just put it in my small toaster oven and that did the trick. My favorite way to eat roast pork is with hot corn tortillas. I bought some hot and fresh from the local Carnival market and I was all smiles. Got a 1 item combo of Pancit Bihon and 10 pieces of Lumpia Shanghai for only $10! Tasty, crunchy and hit the spot. Lots log leftovers to enjoy again. Also got a 2 item combo of Beef Steak with onions in a soy sauce base, rice, and Beef Kare Kare. The service even put extra sauce on my rice when I asked. Although the Kare Kare was not made with the traditional beef oxtails, I was impressed with the meat quality. It was tender slices of lean beef just like what they use for the Beef Steak. The server warned me there is also Tripe in the Kare Kare. I'm okay with it if there no odor. It was Book or Leaf Tripe and it was cleaned and cooked perfectly. Not tough, gamy or stringy. Both beef entrees were cooked perfectly and tender. Maybe just a little low on salt seasoning but that's okay. We can add our own. The server gave me mostly the meat and a few tripe pieces. Wish I got more veggies since that's actually what I like most about Kare Kare. For me it's all about the mixed veggies and peanut gravy. I'll definitely return when I'm back in the area.

Visited this restaurant after my food shopping @ next door Seafood City. Both 2 sets of 2 entrees (Pinakbet & Mongo with rice and Dinuguan and Bistek with Pansit) and a Halo Halo. Foods are tasty and savory. Service was ok. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Ample parking spaces. Conveniently near the 805 Freeway and E Orange Avenue.

I've been going here for about a decade now, and it's still smack! The food is oily, but fat is flavor. I usually order the lechon cebu, but it's not available until 11:00 am, so I wasn't able to order it this time. At least it's offered every day, as years ago it was only available on the weekends. No doubt it's a 10/10 rating! My other recommendations are the mendo, bisteak, sisig, bopis, and garlic rice. All are an 8/10 rating. I love how the Filipino food spots within National City and Chula Vista give huge portions, unlike any other spot located northbound, such as Fredcel's in City Heights and all of the eateries within Manila (Mira) Mesa. The vibe here is chill, as the set-up is similar to Panda Express. Check out the video below, as we've ordered party trays for a family gathering, and they were able to accommodate my request for pick-up at 9:30 am. That is great service, as typically received within the Philippines! Mabuhay!
